FAMILY HOUSE, KRK, project, 2016. authors Rajka Bunjevac mag.ing.arch., Boris Petrović mag.ing.arch. The concept of the building is based on rotation the cuboid-shaped volume in the 90° angle, forming the internal rectangular yard closed to the northern and western sides and opened to the lanscape and the sea view. By defining the central points in the south-eastern part of the yard, we wanted to create a private area which would enable access into all of the main facilities of the house – living/dining room, kitchen, terrace and pool. In order to separate it, the sleepeng area of the house has been elevated to the first floor level, that enables the beautiful see view. Although the volumes are designed pure and minimalist, their disposition and composition of light and shade, forms the outdoor places that became the predominant for the outdoor summer living.
