PALMOTIĆEVA, LAW OFFICE, ZAGREB, 2009.

The project involved conversion of a residential space into office space.
The space is located on the first floor of a residential building in the very centre of the block-like structure of Donji grad. The residence had rooms with large windows facing the street on the west and the south; these have been converted into offices with minor interventions only. The rooms facing the yard and orientated eastwards, such as the bathroom and the guest room, have been merged and converted into a reception area and a larger office with four new work stations separated by a glass partition. This required interventions in the very construction. The glass partition provided visually a much larger space.
The new lowered ceiling enabled air-conditioning of all work stations. New brown parquet flooring is planned as a contrast to the white walls and modern white furniture of simple design and maximum functionality.
